Gateshead vs Torquay United 12.8.17

Dazza - Three "truly" difficult games. Come on wake up and smell the coffee. Its you that need some perspective. Did Sutton have a "truly" difficult game away to Tranmere today? Apparently not because they beat them (and that was 11 v 11)
Sure Aldershot have started well, but Gateshead? they are a much smaller team than us. As has been said we have the potential to attract bigger crowds than most teams in this league.
Boreham Wood have Paul Benson who is 37 and scored today. We have Fallon - Two years younger but not capable of running around the pitch. A complete waste of space. Then theres Haworth - another of Nicos mates, another waste of space.
Every team is targeting Chaney - it isn't rocket science, he isn't up to it. Rather than sign panic signings like Fallon and Haworth Nico would have been better employed getting a full back in on loan.
Every so often a result will cause more strife amongst supporters than others and todays is one of them. The reason for that is because it was our easiest game so far and we have basically got hammered and been atrocious by the sound of it - if you listen to the manager it seems most of his players gave up at half time. It just isn't good enough and that is why the result has caused so much consternation.
If you want to put this down to Gateshead being a "good side" then good for you but you are deluding yourself.
