Well he was delighted at the time to be going to a "bigger club" and 'forgot' to mention how much hard work our club had put in to his development as a footballer to give him the opportunity. What goes round comes round!

On a similar theme like others I would be delighted as well to see Northampton drop into the Conference. I've disliked their attitude since the chief constable of Northamptonshire Police contacted the chief constable of Devon & Cornwall about 11 years ago to put pressure on our club to allow more tickets for Northampton fans as a win would see them clinch promotion. Well a win for us would have secured a play off place so really just as important, although Northampton obviously could not see that as they are such a 'bigger' club. We had reduced capacity as it was as the Babbacombe end was closed for the construction of the away end stand, but we caved in to the pressure, gave Northampton a big part of the Popside and about half the grandstand, and despite Tony Bedeau giving us an early lead Northampton cheered on by a massive away support won 2-1 and went up. We of course missed out on the play-offs.

The Conference experience would do them good and they may even learn some humility. Be nice to see them struggling to get out of it next year, just ask Luton Town! :)

Argeed, think a spell in the conference would do the mighty Northampton a world of good, look at the diference in attitude displayed by the Oxford fans on there return to the football league.

Far greater humble bunch of fans/club,compared to how they were before.

I would love to see Northampton in the Blue Square, especially as I support Peterborough as well!

I did the BBC Predictor, and i have us 6th and Stevenage missing out. I'm still confident we'll do it!
