Just seen a couple of south american clubs whose team names made me laugh ( i do have the mental age of a 6 year old so bear with me ).
Deportivo Wanka and the other one is Deportivo Moron!!
Well it's funnier than Rhod Gilbert anyway.
Anyone know of any other clubs with dodgy names?

Used to drive past Titz, near Cologne in Germany. They have to have a footy team called something like TSV Titz or Borrusia Monchengladtitz or something

Looking forward to the WC Quals this week. Another chance for us to embarrass ourselves against the Faroes whilst on tuesday we must beat Ireland in Dublin to keep in with half a chance at play offs. Meanwhile England have the mammoth task of beating a few plasterers, at least most of the Faroese players play professionally in Europe whilst the San Marino players just play the guitar on street corners to supplement their income. Oh and Rio Ferdinand is a total waste of oxygen and typifies the England 'spirit'. The bloke is a football winner but as a man he''s a loser.

Can't someone ban those tragic England trumpeters? They sound abysmal. They're playing 'self preservation society'! Someone go and tell them it's not a country fete but a football match the bunch of idiots. Sounds dreadful.

its great how england have such fantastic supporters who follow them loyally all over the world and really get behind the team. many wonderful hardcore fans have even forked out their hard earned cash to go to a sh!t non-event of a match like this. but yeah, i have to agree the trumpets and drum are getting on my t!ts.
my young lad noticed that song being played and even he took the p!ss and asked why are they playing that stupid song from that advert.
this match is a total waste of time. england havent even broke a sweat and they're 3-0 up.

How can San Marino ( a principality ) play in a tournament for nations and Monaco ( another principality ) play in the French league? They should join the Italian lower leagues where they belong.

wales just equalised against scotland. 1-1.
was hoping the jocks would win this one. the welsh have been getting well carried away lately because they think they've got the greatest player of all time, in the universe, gareth bale.
really, really heavy snow coming down in that game. is it that bad everywhere up north at the moment?
b0ll0cks wales just took the lead. :-o 2 goals in less the 2 minutes.

Exactly what I thought. I know it sounds harsh to criticise an 8-0 win but England never really played with any intensity. Passing was sloppy and players still seemed reluctant to get on the ball and take risks. It's a testament to just how bad San Marino are.
There really does need to be a pre-qualifying tournament. FIFA have said in the past that it would mean the smaller nations never get to test themselves against the best in the world but upsets do happen and of course some minnows nations would sneak into 'proper' qualifying. In any case, most of these nations simply aren't good enough to play against the best in the world. The team I play for on Saturday never gets to test itself against the best in the world and we're not complaining. Is FIFA going to make a competition where we can take on Manchester United? (well I hope not as we'd get smashed)
I'm also growing tired of the England 'band' n the stands... (prepares to get slaughtered)

Andy, there is a San Marino club team that plays in the lower reaches of the Italian leagues. Also, I loved hearing the England fans sing 'F*** off Rio Ferdinand'. He's a tool.
