For a fleeting second I was tempted to come on here and comment that whilst Mansell was on the pitch we drew 0-0, then he went off and we lost....but then thought that I wouldn't bother, so I didn't.

The sad fact is that the team we support has degenerated into a useless bunch of tossers, not fit to wear the shirt. The players should be ashamed of themselves and give up football to work in Burger King, that is all they are fit for.

Yeah but then you move into the area of manouvering the cooked burgers into the rolls and passing the salad and putting it in the right place, not sure this lot have the tatical nonse to manage that.

THOUGHT

How many people do you know in cushy jobs that are VERY unlikely to want to give it up?
Pretty obvious to me now that many of our clubs employees would not have a job had we have remained a league club. can't expect them to make a fight of it really.

75 minutes of Torquay looking like a decent league 2 team we matched fleetwood all over the park and had the better half chances.

Somehow their fat striker turns and their other striker goes straight between downes and Pearce

Cue the ref

The game descended into a farce

Cameron choked slammed, labadie studded in the leg, should have had a penalty, fleetwood faking injuries

Completely shameful by them and the ref

That game sums up put season, unbelievable.

I saw the most laughable decision in football today and some people in the ground wouldn't of had a clue. Nathan Pond is a disgrace

When did it become acceptable to tackle a man by clothes lining his neck? The ref bottled that one even though it wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome.

Didn't look like scoring at all.

Mansell was awful, his passing was utter garbage. No amount of double fist pumps can make up for that. At one point he played a hospital pass to Pearce who lost possession as a result. He then proceeded to bollock him when everyone could see it was his fault - not good captaincy. He was then booked for a stupid late tackle on their left back that didn't need to be made. We dropped Harding (who had looked infinitely more effective) for that?

Nicholson also had a shocker. I'm led to believe he's in the team for his set piece ability, well he failed to beat the first man on nearly every corner and his free kick at the end probably still hasn't landed.

It's obvious we are down now and the inevitability of home defeats means it doesn't even hurt anymore - we're that used to the dross being served up.

The defenders make too many mistakes, the midfielders can't pass and the strikers can't score. May as well use the remainder of the season to work out who we're going to keep and bring the lads back from their loans.

Absolutely gutted by the whimper we are going out the football league. Don't think we'll be seeing it again for a long, long time.

Didn't go today, went and watched my lads team win 3.1, outcome no surprise really, my only concern as a fan with CH was, would he play the old pals act with Manse and Nicho, seems to be happening, Harding dropped for Manse, really Greavsie ???? Will be going Tues and Next Saturday though.

Same old story today and it's the story of our whole season. We just cannot score and to be frank today we never looked like scoring. Torquay had the bulk of possession today and did not really deserve to lose. Their best hope today was in the second half when Ladbadie appeared to be fouled in the penalty box when through on goal - the referee instead gave a corner! Crowd 2,200+ who I thought got behind the team today, 100+ from Fleetwood. Sponsors MOTM Downes, Twitter MOTM our new big bruiser striker Enoch.

Torquay played 4-3-3 in the first half and kicked towards the Family stand. Again Hargreaves and co. preferred the away dug-out. Torquay had a lively opening but clear chances were few and far between. Downes, our centre-half leading scorer which says everything, had our best effort with a long range effort that just fizzed over. Fleetwood offered very little and Torquay were on top but rarely tested their keeper. A Ladbadie free-kick was no more than a daisy cutter that their keeper saved comfortably. When we did get in a half decent position normally the final ball / cross was wasteful. Enoch put his strength about pretty well and won some headers but like Hawley and Benyon I cannot recall any notable attempts from our strike force.

The second half opened up more and it was quite a watchable game. Mansell had a triple chance in the penalty area. But Rice had to come to Torquay's rescue twice saving us from certain goals. The first he saved brilliantly on a one-on-one and the other he got his boot on a goal bound shot to keep it out. They were the warning signs that Fleetwood looked capable of scoring. Fleetwood used all their subs and so did Torquay as we switched to 4-4-2. Substitute Stockley and Enoch were prefered up front with subs Cameron and Chapell on the wings. I thought of all our subs only Cameron made an impression. However on 74 minutes a well threaded ball put their striker through and this time Rice could not be our saviour. Torquay tried hard for the rest of the match, it looked like we should have had a penalty when Ladbadie was chopped down. We had lots of corners and free-kicks but even after 5 minutes of added time we could not score. Ladbadie had a decent chance in added time but it was saved. Fleetwood did some unsavoury tactics, a bit like Crawley under Evans, but came out undeserved winners. At one stage Cameron got through on the left and he was cynically pulled back.

So no surprises, we could not score and we lost again. We know we are effectively down already so I am past getting irate over it. I'm pleased our starting line-up only had one loanee and I thought there was a good team spirit and the crowd made a pretty good atmosphere. But whoever we choose - we do not have enough shots at goal and we cannot score.
