He went back for Poke on Veysey's recommendation. And he approached Alex Russell when appointed, no doubt encouraged by the board. He has a precedent for it, though. On your second point, I'll let others comment on whether Poke's return has worked out thus far...

That's one thing we can all agree on - Ross Reid is an idiot and an unwelcome presence on the radio - win, lose or draw.

What odds on a tetchy Ling mentioning a few fans directed negative comments his way?

There isn't a fan who could be more negative than Ling's tactics.

Last week was a shambolic offensive performance. He makes one change :-I

Our central mdifield with Mansell, Easton and Lathrope is the worst in the football league. Offers absolutely nothing.

Bodin has been a massive disappointment and Craig is wasted out wide.

got a crud squad but it's not being helped by the management currently.

For those wondering where Elliot Benyon was today, Ross Reid has just informed us he picked up a caff injury. Maybe he spilt peppermint tea on himself, or got poked in the eye with a sticky bun. Who knows??

Why is it always the same on this site - A few people post comments as they can see cause for concern on the horizon, which always ends with being slated and abused....Sorry, but I'm personally fed up with moaning from behind the scenes. I know that Torquay United is firstly a business then perhaps a decent football team but the paying customers are begining to be taken for a ride.
