GARY HAD A DREAM
TO BUILD FOOTBALL TEAM
HE HAD NO JOB SO HE CAME TO THE GULLS
WITH CAMERON AT THE BACK
AND REIDY IN ATTACK
WE'RE TORQUAY UNITED
WE'RE ON OUR WAY BACK !!
WE'RE ON OUR WAY BACK
WE'RE ON OUR WAY BACK
WE'RE TORQUAY UNITED
WE'RE ON OUR WAY BACK

Over the years the three chants I enjoyed (and sang) the most were:
(a) the Robin Stubbs chant
(b) the Willie Brown chant
(c) the Kevin Hill chant

Sung to the tune of the Adams family, and was used to great effect away at Hemel,
Your sister is your mother,
Your father is your brother,
You all s*ag one another,
The Hemel Family...

It as near as dammit rhymes with the cricket chant for Joe Root.
"Johnson's Yellow army"
Johnny Cash - Ring of fire.

I always felt that "I was born under the mini-stand" was the only proper TUFC song. Loved singing "Drink up thy cider" in the Pop side in the 80's and early 90's, but not our song.

He’s fat. He’s round. He’s worth about a pound Steve Phillips. Steve Phillips.
