I'll be there, provided nothing goes horribly wrong at work on Friday afternoon

Paul, I'd definitely agree that you should ask TUFC to request that you're allowed to take it, and if they say no, ask for a compelling reason.
Matt.

Whilst I am doing that why don't we ask SG to take his van to Northampton and race your Ford Escort / Capri / Cortina or what ever the excuse for a speed wagon thing you have?

There are so many reasons for this, I don't know where to begin listing them all.
Matt.

Head to T.G.I Fridays is probably the best bet? Only accross the road from the ground though from memory stupidly expensive theres not many options really..

Really going to try and make it, not that far from Birmingham. If I can get these bloody essays done in time then I'll be there in my finest yellow.

Bang opposite the ground is indeed TGI Fridays, but better still, a little further along is a Frankie & Benies where the food and drinks are cheaper.
If you drive past the cinema (on your left) there is a Bella Pasta (for those who are looking for food) and a bit further along is "Six Fields" Hungry Horse chain of pubs. The pub is a bit of a walk from the ground though.
So realistically it is either TGI or F&B
Lets have a vote on this thread Thursday night we will see which is the most popular.
I am voting for F&B
BTW Just spoke to NTFC and they will not allow the drum in due to H&S. They said their own fans want to bring a drum as well and they are having to refuse them as well.

F&B is fine by me too.
as for the drum - what a load of bollox. H&S ???? sensitive ears in northampton or something ?? this country is in danger of strangling itself in bloody red tape, and drowning in paperwork and nonsensical policies. effin' do-gooders. AARGGHHH !!!!!!!

To be fair the club did say if we can't even allow our own fans in with a drum how can we expect them to allow us in with one.
To help them I did give them a list of "all seater" clubs that allow their own fans in with a drum and suggested they speak to them about how they get around H&S.
