Hardly a rock in January. I thought he was very poor for a run of games starting with Hereford away and wasnt suprised when he was dropped. Since then weve looked a lot tighter unit. As YellowMurph says, why change something that works?NickGull wrote:Regarding Ellis, I bet he is wondering what the hells happened!? He is a rock, yet he can't seem to get back into the side.
See what I mean lies!Southampton Gull wrote:

Didn't suggest he wasn't being used 'sensibly'. But if he was the best player in the division, he'd be in a starting line-up more often than not.Southampton Gull wrote:
Or it could be that Eunan is just being used sensibly after his first real full season of English professional football, which he's found hard going unsurprisingly.
I wouldn't believe it either, just thought I'd bring it up as a possibility since it had been mentioned before. Ellis has been so complementary of Branston's impact on his own game in the past that I can't imagine them having a big fall out.ferrarilover wrote:I wouldn't believe the rumours of a falling out, unless you know something we don't Dave?
They're good mates off the field, Mark and Pickles, and I'm not sure either of them are the type to hold a grudge, more old school than that, get it out in the open and move on type of guys.
Regards DL, he is one of those players I don't usually notice at all. I couldn't tell you a single thing about his game really, a bit like Wroe, but less obviously inconspicuous.
Matt.

I think Ellis has more of a problem with PB than GB.
