That said, I will end my gripes now and try to stay positive. One thing I do have confidence in the board is in choosing the right candidate. I've already put a sneaky few quid Nicky Forster.
Looks like someone has put a few sneaky quid on Alex Russell with Sky Bet. He's come down to 4-1 and third favourite.

As for the 'it doesn't matter' posts (mother), I know it doesn't MATTER, but it really can't be hard for them to all have @torquayunited.com addresses for the sake of uniformity.

Matt.

1. it will mean you have live/sleep in that dodgy orange car

2. ill maker sure that SG give you a chinese burn the next time you see him.... ;-) =D

While I agree this isn't a massive thing, it's a small matter that could (surely?) be easily remedied and would make us seem a little bit more professional. Someone's said it won't matter to managerial applicants, but combined with the late transfer registration farces of last season (which prospective applicants are likely to know about) it may make us seem like we don't know what we're doing, and thus aren't an organisation that a quality manager wants to work with/for.

The same goes for players we're trying to bring in - Ross Hannah went to Bradford based on the impression he got from visiting there. I'm sure they offered him decent money as well, but chances are so did other clubs, they just didn't impress him as much. The majority of our signings are likely to be free transfers, and if we're to persuade quality players being chased by other clubs that we're the right move I think we need to behave like a professional club and look like we mean business, in all aspects of what we do.
