24 points from 9 games.
Five home wins - all games we should win
Win at Dorking or Truro and Aveley & Hemel.
Thank would be the 24 points.
Possible but allows only one slip up.

To finish second with two home play off games to go up, I'd estimate we'd need seven wins.

Being optimistic is one thing, but that borders on the ridiculous! Suddenly, after scraping past a team called Angel's by a single goal we're going to become world beaters. I'm certain we'll make the playoffs, but in the bottom section.

North Curry House I find it very interesting that you think Worthing and Dorking will finish 1st and 2nd. Why do I say that?

Take Worthing they have Eastbourne away, Dorking Home and Truro Home. If they loose at Eastbourne and draw the other 2 that is 7 points dropped.

Dorking have a very tough run in with 5 games against the Top 7 and 3 of those are away at Maidstone tomorrow, Boreham Wood 22 March, and Worthing 21 April.

Also they will not find a Torquay United team easy on Saturday especially if we win tomorrow making 3 wins on the bounce.

It is all guesswork I know but Dorking and Worthing have by far the toughest finish and Boreham Wood the easiest. It could be Boreham Wood 1st Torquay United 2nd???

Keithesson i think itโ€™s great to have insight from fans of other clubs, i wouldn't tar us all with same brush from one poster. Although i will say itโ€™s cheeky not having us down as a rival to look at results wise tomorrow in your post on your own forum, letโ€™s see how that goes shall we ;)
Cheers, wasn't just him DVNGull gave it the biggun a couple of times back too. Been around the block on forums long enough for it not to let it get under my skin, but I appreciate the appreciation from 'proper ones' ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

On the 'rivals' point I should explain our green/red colour codings on the previews relate to teams who we can overtake or be overtaken by in that round of games. Being four points behind is the only reason you weren't red... you're a rival of course in the bigger picture.

Half time tonight and my point in response to the OP about 'only a fool thinking away to Aveley is a gimme' is sadly proving spot on. We all need to respect these opponents every bit as much as each other, fighting to stay up is every bit a motivation as fighting to go up.

,@Keithsson, It looks like you have taken another step towards winning this league. We can still overtake you but there is a lot of twists and turns before the final whistle blows.

COYY.

Worthing have nice few fixtures before playing anyone near the top, think they may have it nearly done by then. Top 3 is our realistic target for this season, as to close a 7 point gap in 9 games isn't really achievable

If I were a betting man i'd put good money on points being dropped at home to Hemel on Saturday, they're another from the OP's list of 'wins' which appeared more than a little simplistic.

It isn't as binary as where the team you're playing is in the league. The form table is more important, as to is being wary of teams in the bottom 6/7 positions. Take Aveley! Back to back narrow defeats against two of the promotion chasing pack.

The only 'easy' games per se will be against teams in poor form with little or no chance of relegation or the play-offs... and there's precious few of them.

Worthing only just dodged a bullet tonight against the bottom team and Hemel are unbeaten in about eight or something.

Plus there's the curse of being top, every one of us has had a go at some point then dropped away.

Many many plot twists to come, every one of the top 6/7 can win this league.

Could only be 4pts tonight, albeit game in hand.

What a surprise to see Keithsson come on after Worthing win. Not sure i saw your entry after getting pumped by Slough the other week.

Must go fishing on your site, not.
