If I read the rules right, the tie-breaker after goals scored is wins not H2H, so that would mean advantage Truro in a 3-0 us and 2-1 Truro scenario. Wouldn't mind a second opinion on this though.
Being positive, HHT 1 TUFC 4. Get the job done first though before pushing on.

Might need some clarification from the club/National League before SaturdayFavGull wrote: 22 Apr 2025, 17:58 If I read the rules right, the tie-breaker after goals scored is wins not H2H, so that would mean advantage Truro in a 3-0 us and 2-1 Truro scenario. Had my every prediction this season come true we would now have amassed 257 goals.
In the interests of consistency I predict.........Hemel 0 Torquay 6

Cagey first half to see how the land lays at Truro and elsewhere - then I expect 2nd half to be all guns blazing if it looks like its down to goal difference.
HH 0 - TUFC 4
All told it's been a good season and a final game to be enjoyed. A win still give's us pole position in the play off's so plenty to celebrate at the final whistle whatever the results.

HH 1 - 3 Torquay
So a 2-1 win for Truro and a 3-0 win for us would put both our goals for as 72 and goals against 41 and they would go up on the basis of winning 1 game more. Can see that happening.

I think I’ve got this right and come up with a ‘simple’ explanation.
If both Truro and Torquay win, these are the requirements for Torquay to clinch the title.
a) - If Truro win to nil, Torquay must win by TWO goals more than Truro.
Eg Truro 1-0 St Albans / Hemel 0-3 Torquay
Torquay 89 - +31 - 72F 41A
Truro 89 - +31 - 71F 40A
b) If Truro win and both teams score, Torquay must win by either:
- THREE more goals than Truro (any scoreline) or
- By winning by TWO more goals than Truro and also scoring TWO more goals than Truro
Eg Truro 2-1 St Albans / Hemel 1-4 Torquay
Torquay 89 - +31 - 73F 42A
Truro 89 - +31 - 72F 41A

This is assuming they win of course. I expect St Albans to give it a good go with their relegation battle going to the final day. They’re not on terrible form either, with 8 pts from their last 5, and have conceded the third lowest amount of goals outside the top 10. Hemel concede a few, so here’s hoping.

Turns out the first bit was irrelevant, they’re the only two factors to consider.Admiral wrote: 23 Apr 2025, 22:30 I think I’ve got this right and come up with a ‘simple’ explanation.
