There is no need to worry. There are plenty more fish in the sea. There are a lot of gems to be found amongst the at the moment "out of a job" players. We had to make a quick start because we only had 7 contracted senior players and its likely that 3 of them will go!! Looking around the bottom two divisions MOST clubs have made very few signings. This, I believe is due to
1.Holidays
2., Players thinking they can bide their time for their agents to get the best deal.
3. Managers not wanting to get their fingers burnt in a rush for agents .
Give it another 2 weeks and suddenly agents will realise that a lot of their clients could find themselves with "no job" next season unless they get realistic in what they are asking for and the clubs will suddenly hold the upper hand with players wanting their future sorted out before training starts.
Only if you havent signed players by about 9th July will you need to worry.
Buckle's 8th signing - already
