Yes he's a youth player, and he looked pretty handy at WSM in pre-season, bloody fast winger! 1-1 at half time, they scored in 42nd minute
The gulls are going up

We are losing 3-1 with minutes to go! Leadbitter played 45 minutes and Ellis subbed after getting booked

Wow!

Cut to ribbons by a VASTLY superior side. We scored from a goalkeeping cock up and that was as good as it got. We were ripped to pieces and only an unbelievably good display from Ricey kept it from being embarrassing (but fair).

To be fair, it's hard to pass comment on individuals when the opposition are clearly so superior, so I'll say nothing negative. However, Stevens looked pretty sharp and, as previous, MR had a blinder. My only problem was his habit of parrying the ball out in front of himself, rather than out to the side.

Like Matt, I put club before country :engflag: and watched the live action on the Plainmoor pitch. Although Matt watched from the comfort of the Gulls Nest while I watched the whole of the game from the windy cold of the Family Stand.

Martin Rice is a good shot stopper (he needed to be last night against a very good side) although his parries tended not to be pushed clear of danger.

Of the starting XI,I'd not previously seen left back James Quinn or Niall Thompson in action. Both did well as did Robert Nardiello when he came on for Daniel Leadbitter at half time.

After the game I watched the rest of England v Wales while tucking into a Gulls nest special (chilli con carne and rice). Excellent value for £3 and it warmed me chilled bones back to a more comfortable temperature. :-D
