Now we've had our banter, back to the original post by gasrex.
Geoff Brett - the landlord of the Union Inn in Plainmoor - is a lifelong Gashead and welcomes fellow Gasheads into his pub. Make it number one place to visit on the day as Geoff is in his 50's so old times and tales of Alfie Biggs, Harold Jarman, Lindsay Parsons, Ray Mabbutt etc will go down well.

You want bars such as Green ginger which is weatherspoons and another one is the Green room, you've got to be over 25 for this one so you will be fine :~D .
The Green Ginger is a "Lloyds", on the harbourside and and stays open to 03.00.
No football shirts allowed on a Saturday and deffo no singing/chanting.
The Green Room is also on the harbourside and a good craic for o'farts, oops, I mean mature professional social drinkers.
If you get lucky in the Green Room, you might pull a bird in her early 30's.

What are all the smilies about ? "Troj you old git" or "no gay clubs" ?
Old git I am for sure. As for gay, in my growing up days it meant happy and carefree. Then f'cked up queer people (homosexuals and the politically correct) came along and corrupted the language.
To straighten things out, i like World War One beef bayonet up the f'cked up chocolate motorway

Me and a few mates used to have a time share sort of thing at The Osbourne Hotel, I cant remember what road it is on, but I am sure you Torquay folk will know what it is called. I am sure that there was a gay hotel on that road, I make that assumption as there was lots of gay pride and rainbow flags outside and everytime we came back from the night out, we did see lots of men in vests and leathers coming in and out :~D
Also is there a dogging hotspot round the corner?? Again on more than one occasion walking back we heard lots of strange noises emerging from the car park
I must admit Mambo's (although being a typical cheesefest bar full of irritating twatheads) was quite a pleasurable experience, I was quite impressed with the attractiveness of some of the female customers, It wasn't bad at all for such a small venue
