Talk about bias, just cos you're fave player is Eunan you feel the need to vote for him. You won't catch me doing anything like that! ;-)
Aha, but it's BECAUSE he's capable of moments like that that he's my favourite player ;-)

Really we're lucky to have such lovely clean strikers of the ball at our club, there are several who can really hit it.

dannyrvtufc4life wrote:I voted for Nicholson's goal against Barnet! That's one of the best goals I've seen while watching Torquay for nearly 10 years. Kevin Hill's cheeky goal and Hilly's overhead kick was simply brilliant, so was Matt Hockley's strike against a team I can't remember! Nicholson's goal is up there with the best!

Good Luck Nico! :-D
If we're thinking about the same Hockley goal (and there weren't many, so this is likely!), I seem to remember he scored a scorcher against Halifax after the ball was half-cleared to him from a corner. Quality technique to slam the volley back into the goal. Beautiful.

On this vote, I go with Nico, I went absolutely mental after he netted that!!!

David Graham at home to Hull in either the promotion season or the one before must be worth a mention. With his back to goal from 30 yards out, quarter turn and right footed into the top left hand corner. Beautiful.

Remember that, Camb. My favourite goal from that year was Hillys overhead against Macc. Definition of unbelievable tekkers, that.

Nico for me, for the pure drama of it. The game had 0-0 written all over it, I'd made my way down off the naughty step and was standing by the wall near to where Nico took the throw in. I looked at my brother with the look that said, "last throw of the dice". When the ball came back to Nico and he put it right in the corner of bar/post beyond the full stretch 'keeper, I turned to celebrate with bruv and he wasn't there!
After the throw, he could no longer hold a piss back and missed it !

It gets better. He was too quick off the mark to go Boots & Laces during the Swindon game and missed Tiawo's goal too !

(8) NICHOLSON ! . . . Nicholson . . . NICHOLSON ! . . . Nicholson . . . (8)

To miss the last minute of a game is an acceptable mistake, but to miss Taiwo's goal in the 34th minute is pretty poor. The Boot's and Laces is good an' all, but not that good to miss nearly 15 mins of football.

Glad to see there is another person who appreciated Danny Stevens' fantastic goal last season. If it was scored by someone else I wonder if it would have more votes? It was an absolute peach.

I agree with you. I'm just glad it wasn't my turn that match to get them in.

But does it really need 11 mins plus injury time to get to the bar?!

Have you ever seen Trojan drink??!! You need to be there 11 mins before the end of the half to ensure that enough drinks have been ordered

Well there was a guy with about 10 empty glasses next to him in the Boots & Laces on Boxing Day, could this have been our Trojan?!

An emphatic no.

The story being, for the first time in ages, I didn't need to go pee . . .

. . . before, during, or after. ;-)

The story against Oxford might well be different, like it was last season. 8/

My choice is "Eunan O'Kane (2nd v Plymouth)."

Nico because it was the difference between 1 and 3 points. Last kick, keeper in a proper position and totally unsaveable.
