Re: Where's your caravan?

Some polarisation of views here then. This issue is also being debated on Pasoti with considerable heat and venom. All I can say is that I am appalled at the ease at which some of the posters on Pasoti (e.g. a guy calling himself G&T) call their fellow supporters "racist".
With great sadness, I remember the days when racism targeting black players was rampant at football matches in England, and it was sickening. The chanting of "Where's Your Caravan" at Argyle on Saturday is NOT in any way at all (in ANY way) comparable to the dreadful behaviour that we saw in the 1970s and 1980s.
Quite frankly I despair at the way that the right on diversity fanatics are attacking other fans in this way, it is an awful pointer for the future. What can we expect next:
- by 2015, we won't be able to poke fun at overweight lardassses like Akinfenwa (it will be deemed "fatist").
- by 2020, we won't be able to shout or sing at games just in case somebody is offended.
- by 2025, all games will be played in total silence.
Any breaches of the above would result in the "offender" attending a compulsory re-education class run by Harriet Harperson Associates.
