Nobody, **** or not deserves 5 years in prison if they aren't guilty. I'm not defending the bloke but some of the reported facts just don't seem to add up to a not guilty for one and guilty for the other.

Fair points Dave, on occasion i do go OTT but if people are stupid enough to put themselves in positions like this then so be it. If they didn't act like twats and treated the women they met with respect then maybe they would avoid trouble. In this case it appeared the woman involved consented to going to a hotel room with two blokes she didn't know which would indicate to me that she is undeserving of such respect; however, if you shag about with all and sundry then you are setting yourself up for accusations. I just don't like blokes who think they can pull anyone, women haven't quite realized yet that these types will use them and spit them out like chewing gum despite years of moaning about them. Basically ladies, if a bloke wants it on the first date he isn't worth it and neither are you if you do too.

Anyway, thats the Dear Deirdrie bit sorted! Basically what i'm trying to say is that i wouldn't want someone like Ched Evans anywhere near any daughter of mine so if he is prison then fine. I know you are morally right Dave in the bare facts that someone who is not guilty should not go to prison but on occasions i feel such little sympathy for some people that i really don't care if they get banged up for something they haven't done.

Interesting that he gets to celebrate his inclusion in the PFA League 1 team of the season just a week after his jail sentence.

That`s probably because the police were starting to look into things being said about the girl involved, I think people who posted stuff started to try and cover thier tracks!
