Makes me think we've been ripped off big time with Olejnik though.

Why did Gillingham get £2.5m for the second best goalkeeper in L2 and we only got whatever pittance we got for the best keeper in L2? How does this happen?
Also, watching Shanghai Shenhua (second XI in truth) v Man Utd. Disappointingly, they're not playing in the Hongkou stadium.
Matt.

Weren't we saying that the fee for Olejnik was pretty ok? Just because some other commanded a bigger fee doesn't automatically mean we got hosed.
I think this new Southampton keeper is 5 years younger, too, which makes a huge difference. Also..Southampton are a premiership team now. Everybody knows they have the money.

Everyone looking forward to the WC qualifiers? I see England have a group that's as challenging as kiddies 8 piece jigsaw............AGAIN!
We have got Germany (again - 6 points down the tubes already), Sweden (who we qualified ahead of in 1998 thanks to an absolute screamer by Andreas Herzog in Vienna to give us a 1-0 win), Ireland (i shall be gathering my austrian flags and scarves and heading over on the ferry for that one, can't wait), Kazakhstan (6 points) and the Faroe Islands (who famously beat us 1-0 in their first ever competetive international - a EURO 92 qualifier).
We,ve also got WALES in a friendly at the Liberty in february which i shall be going to with the rest of the Austrians. Roll on!

Can anyone find a link to commentator Andres Cantor shouting 'ggoooooooooaaaalllll' for Mexico's Olympic gold-medal-winning goals against Brazil...? Or perhaps one of his other recent commentaries..?

I could but I'm not going to, because it's ridiculous
The one for the final took longer than it took Mexico to score. (they scored after 29 seconds). I've never understood why people lap Cantor's stuff up. it doesn't add anything at all.
