Dinger referenced the impending Arsenal match during his post-D&R interview. He said, "Bradford have a match against Arsenal the following Tuesday, which I'm sure my players will be keen to remind them, as it's a game none of them would want to miss", or words to that effect, it was very funny.
It seems their supporters (perhaps quite rightly) are very much more interested in the Arsenal game than any other in the interim, if the quota of related threads on their board is anything to go by. Let's hope the players are suffering the same stars in their eyes.
Matt.

Bradford currently 2-0 up at Vale Park in the JPT. Jones and Forsyth the scorers. About 20 minutes left in that one.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Time to shamlessly self-promote my terribly hashed 'Scout Report'

It was a very 'normal' read Steve!
But very interesting and concise too.
Will you be doing one of those for each game now?
I reckon we can hit them smack bang in the middle of cup competetitions and sneak a result here. Given our abysmal away scoring record and abysmal record at carving out more than 2 chances on the road PLUS the fact that i'm going i will put my money on a 0-0.

I'm not sure if I'll bother with doing too many more of them Andy, as they don't appear to be getting that many views compared to some of the other stuff I've written.austrianandygull wrote:It was a very 'normal' read Steve!![]()

If anyone on here has some ideas for blogs or things they might find interesting then feel free to pm me and I'll see if I'm interested! :P

You both (Steve and Andy) do fantastic articles... I enjoy reading them I will do as much as I can to promote them if you feel not getting enough views. I don't trust the Wordpress hit counter as that's only when people click to view the full article not accounting for the snippet views and those viewing on twitter and Facebook too.

Cheers Louis for the kind words. I have an idea but not sure many of us would want to take part but a page on each member for example with photo detailing some background to their life in terms of what job they do, where they live and how they came to support Torquay. It could also have sort of Q&A thing asking questions like what their favourite away ground is, what's their favourite world cup and stuff like that. I think it would be really interesting and it would enable us to put names to faces and get some insight into some of the members on here who we interact with regularly but have never seen or know very little about.
Of course the beauty of a forum is that many people wish to remain faceless as it were and they prefer that. I'm not fussed either way but i'm sure there would be a few idiots amongst us to give it a go including myself. Say YES! TO THE TORQUAYFANS.COM MEMBERS PROFILE PAGES!
I've just thought it could be done like a team profile page like they do on clubs' official websites.

You could try to get the InsidePlainmoor twitter account to promote them? Not sure whether they would though...Louis wrote:You both (Steve and Andy) do fantastic articles... Weather forecast for the Bradford game is cloudy with temperatures above freezing.
They didn't mention any earthquakes though, so how reliable a forecast is it..?? 8/
