Exactly - there is NO evidence that he can be relied upon in a crisis.

Was the gulls player commentator saying this or something, because it was plain to see watching the game that he was one of our worst players.

Some of his decision making was shocking, always out of position, and sh*t himself whenever he got the ball.

And the worst thing for me - no bottle to put himself into challenges and battle for the ball.
Looked completely out of his depth and just seemed like he didn't want o ruin his haircut all night
In the first half, yes the above is true. But he was much improved in the second half. I think it was noticable that most of Dagenhams attacks in the second half came from Oastler's side as Cruise was doing a good job. He linked up well with Jarvis a few times as well, and played some good passes.

It was a very shaky start from him, but thats to be expected with the complete lack of game time. I thought he did a good enough job second half to keep his place

I've been agreeing with you since you kicked off this campaign of support for the boy and it sounds as though he is getting on the road to taking his chance. Sadly, there will always be idiots who don't rate him because he wasn't majestic in his first half of competitive football for 18 months, or because he didn't score 500 goals in his two reserve team appearances last year. Further bad news is that Danny Leadbitter, who was our best player for at least 1.5 of the games he played recently, was ditched in favour of JOastler, who has been nothing short of a liability this term.

Matt.

Welcome back Matt
Thanks for the support I was talking to Tom at the last home game and the lad is getting extremely frustrated at his lack of opportunities. He said " this time a year ago I was marking Theo Walcott in training and doing well against him now I'm marking Niall Thompson" how can I not be getting a start when Nico has been so poor.

He said that last bit outside the quotes? Or did you just add that to cause trouble?

Is the jury still out or can everyone see he's done more in 3 games than Nico has done all season.

Deserves to keep his place, good performance from what I heard on the radio, got an assist. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Nicho is a club hero, but it's time he warmed the bench for a bit.

As soon as I heard that there was one person in particular that didn't rate him, I knew he'd come good :scarf: :scarf: :~D

Cruise was fantastic tonight, his movement and ball in for the first goal was right on the money.
