A really, really, really cold refreshing drink necked in one go on a hot sunny day when you are so thirsty you could drink your own p*ss. Heaven!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Our Beautiful Beautiful country
We have the most beauifull country in the world. (Translation for Americans. We have the most beautifull country in the Uk which is the world as nothing outside is worthy).
Rich in heritage, rich in beautifull awe inspiring scenery. from the magic of Scotland, the green of Northern (I will also include Southern Ireland as its pysically connected) and the musical tapistry of Wales to the mountains of Snowdonia. The Highlands. The pennines and the rolling hils of the Dales, Bodmin and Dartmoor.
The most incredible scenic coastline anywhere in the world.
We have the most intelligent population in the world. Although we seem to want to throw it all away.
The most artistic and inventive people. our music industry and art is way ahead of anyone. we are the richest in anything.
This cannot just be measured in money, but life, history, The arts, Sport, (we invented a lot of it.)
But do we apreciate it. Hmmm. anyway i am for once proud to live here.
Oh and we have the best football team in the world (Translatiion for all others outside the US ie The British(which is Devon) So there)
Always Look on the bright side of life

Billy Bodin

When he scores it is like a little miracle, a little piece of magic that has been released. These moments need to be savoured because they are rarer than the rarest butterfly, rarer than a virgin in Hele and rarer than a Man U fan from Manchester.

Tonight he scored ladies and gentlemen and for just a moment, the earth stood still and i saw images of myself entering the turnstiles at Rochdale next season and not at Dartford and in that miniscule moment of a dream, it became reality. We are saved.

Volunteers

Without them the Government would have one hell of a problem. They say anyone can give money and walk on by but to give time is the most precious gift.

From an animal welfare perspective i'd like to thank all the volunteers up and down the country for helping get dogs walked and socialized instead of them facing endless days kennelled up and maybe only getting out once a day for a few minutes as charities simply do not have the staff to do this. Volunteers allow these dogs to have a taste of freedom, stimulation and some quality time out which keeps them going just enough until they find homes. Without them some of these dogs would develop more severe behavioural problems which mean they would become an issue in kennels and be harder to rehome meaning even more time spent in them.

Obviously there are volunteers that do all sorts of things like fundraise, save lives at sea, help with the elderly and all sorts and they make an immense difference to society.

Wind and rain ( am i allowed 2? )

When weather systems transpire to give us wind and rain then i am free to walk about in my village without witnessing hordes of p*ssed up losers outside the pub shouting and jeering because of the sunshine . I did that when i was 18, these are grown men. Also i can hear the birdsong and sounds of nature instead of exhausts that sound like there's a war going on accompanied by obligatory prick driving and obligatory r and b or rap b*llocks coming out at all angles at 5 million decibels!!!!!

Common people, f*cking hate them!!

Spongebob

I get engrossed in it when watching with my 4 year old ( who is nowhere near old enough to be watching such slapstick crudeness ) but he is a true legend. Makes me laugh much more than so called 'comedians' who get paid fortunes for being not funny. Spongebob is hyperactive and mental. I love the yellow porous one!!

Thankful for those that fought for us so that us channel islanders could be liberated - 68 years ago today.
