HOCKLEY

BRANDON RUSSELL O'KANE HILL

GRAHAM JACK

Bench: SOUTHALL, TAYLOR, CANOVILLE, MANSELL, FOWLER, KUFFOUR, SHARPE (just for the player he became, and cos I couldn't think of any wingers for the bench!)

Who is Brandon?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Chris Brandon, left us for money, but was my favourite player when I was a bey, went on to play for Chesterfield I think, very talented winger.

Chris Brandon, you should know him Andy, he moved from us to Chesterfield.

Had some talent, but is best remembered for spending an entire season out after injuring himself trying to pull up a palm tree by the harbour after a night on the sauce!

Yeah, I remember Chris Brandon. Played in the same team as Brian Healy, Mick o'Brien and Kevin Hill if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I remember Chris Brandon. Played in the same team as Brian Healy, Mick o'Brien and Kevin Hill if I recall correctly.
i felt brian healy and mick o'brien never got as much credit as they deserved really.

the crowd got on their back far to often for not getting the ball forward quick enough.both players always tried to put their foot on the ball and play football. same as martin phillips.

one was maybe a bit too slow at times, but i think he played with injuries (healy), the other 2 were lacking in physical stature for league 2.

although neither would be in my all time team.
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.

Very difficult to have an overall top 5 as most of us have names from different moments in supporting the mighty gulls. Based on this I will go for in no particular order:

Hargreaves, always put in 100% and his Wembley goal helped get us get back in the league.

Rodney Jack

Tommy tyner(excuse surname) but I remember him scoring many goals

Matt Elliot

I always liked Chris Myers as well.

There are so many more, but surely a cheeky 6th has to be Paul Dobson

Before my time as a Gulls fan then, my first season was our promotion season under Leroy.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Hi RR. Out of interest, why do you pick Rodney Jack Jack Jack over Davey Graham? Both legends, but I'd be interested to hear your rationale...
