No sign of Pearce! What do those in the know think, is this falling away? There is a Dare on our team sheet though, don't know if it's another trial it's, is starting as sub.

Dan Dare? or just someone that's playing for us as a forfeit?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

It is a little worrying, given that the Herald report yesterday stated that he (Pearce) was "expected to play".

He was never going to be playing in this match, I was aware of the starting line up yesterday and Pearce wasn't involved

To be fair, the Herald has never been known for good journalism, probably gets most of its gulls stories from here! And yet I still waste a pound every week hoping to find out something new.

Actually quite like Dave Thomas, far better commentary than that random guy who covered some of our London area away games last season on radio Devon, Dagenham especially. Didn't even sound like he was watching the game. Comment was more on the herald in general. Last month they had the headline. "Chaos on our streets". Whoa, what could it be!? Riots? Looting? Zombie Apocalypse?

No, new parking meter in Newton Abbot. CHAOS!

no what your saying brooker, i here that dave thomas always catches up with the manager on almost a daily basis so i would presume he gets most of the imfo from him or at least what the manager wants him to know.

Think maybe that part of the problem is the Weekly format, if a rumour breaks on Tuesday, they tend to wait for the thursday print run, thus everything in the actual paper can feel a bit out of date. Sometimes the website can be better, they were on the button with the Chappell and Cameron signings
