I just go into interviews as myself (no not a mardy tw*t) but just talk normally, crack jokes within reason and talk to them as friends. If they don't like it they can sod off. I'll work somewhere else. Falseness is a lie. It actually has been quite a successful ploy.

Stay well clear of employers who run group job interviews (such as the one discussed here) or who require completion of psychology-originated questionaires (e.g. ASDA)..
