Agree in return Nick. To be fair to both sides neither could play The type of football they perhaps would have liked because of the pitch (no ones fault) During the second half diverts, more like mole hills. And if Chris Hargreaves is appointed I am sure he look at ways of getting more goals out of the said players, they are capable.

We've got to try and get behind teams and get the ball coming back for the strikers and midfield attacking it. Bodin can do this but Chapell struggles to make crosses they should be working on this. The problem is thev'e played every system in the coaching manual and had lost confidence untill Saturday. I think as most another striker is needed so it gives us the option to play 4-5-1 and 4-3-3 so you can attack and defend in the same formation. I new that when Knill went Lathrope would return it's common sence, Harrop knows his stuff. The formation Harrop played was good as it let players express themselves but he should have changed it to give their fulbacks something to do in the last half hour.

That's strange arcadia, on this thread Harrop knows his stuff, on the Harrop for manager thread you're critizing him for making a wrong substitution and being more interested in milking the crowd.

To fair I do not disagree with what your saying there, welcome back to planet earth.. although I would add also, plenty of encouragement to get midfielders in front of the strikers (something they weren't doing, more maintaining two banks of four recently) is another way of getting them scoring , Hawley was coming deep and linking play up nicely so that could work with our current squad.

What I was trying to get across is Harrop set up a team which was balanced, I did not want to critize him because it was his day but you get drawn into it with your own views. I did feel that once he took Bodin off he should have put wide players on and change the formation to get more solid, you are to good. Why take off and go like for like Mozika was like a spare part.

Looks as if Greavsie has been reading this thread I started if his interview with Radio Devon is anything to go by! Under the heading:'This is a gargantuan task' he says becoming manager is ' a big ask'! But he's up for the challenge and reckons we have a good squad.

If he's using words like 'gargantuan' then he's definitely a cut above most other managers. Even Paul Buckle would never have gone beyond 'massive'..
