Matt you did well to spot that and to point it out. But will the BBC concede the point or will it go another 526 minutes without conceding..?? :-/

Perhaps it includes injury time?

In fact, at 30 minutes difference in the timings, 5 games at 6 minutes of injury time each game. Makes sense to me.

The BBC describes Thea Bristow as a CHAIRMAN!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29878463

Sorry BBC, but credit where it's due. Thea is our CHAIRWOMAN, and she's far better than many other football club chairmen.

And please don't describe her (nor anybody else) as a CHAIR. She's not made of wood, though a few other chairpersons certainly give the impression of being knobheads.. :)

Nothing wrong with that, she is the Chairman. Says it herself. http://www.torquayunited.com/news/artic ... 62134.aspx

Er, she doesn't actually say that. Here's what she wrote:

"MY name is Thea Bristow and I have recently agreed to take on the role as chairwoman of Torquay United Football Club. I am also happy to be called chairman, as this is the position and not the gender, but please avoid chairperson – this is just too PC and sounds horrible."

So she described herself as chairwoman, though she was also happy to be called chairman. Maybe so, but that doesn't make it right, and anyway she's probably changed her mind since then.. :~D
