Thanks a lot for the replies everyone. Just to make the process more transparent, these are the points players will score for this game at present. (Replies are still welcome, and if you don't agree with the order below then add a reply and it might make a difference).

Stanley - 7
Robinson - 5
Kee - 4
Zebroski - 3
O'Kane - 2
Oastler - 1
Mansell - 1
Branston - 1
Robertson - 1

It's not a perfect system, but the fairest I could come up with. The MOTM scores the most (7), and then is weighted down to 5th place (5,4,3,2), with everyone else nominated scoring 1.

SantaCruizScotty wrote:1. Robinson - Was always there ready for a pass and made great crosses!
2. Zebroski - Skimmed past a lot of players and always in the right places.
3. Kee - Ran the whole 94 mins (Yes, including stoppage time)
4. Stanley - Good in the mid field always trying to get the ball.
5. Mansell - Towards the end started actualy helping the team on with great runs and encouragement.

(Sorry about any miss-spelling)

 If you don't know why this is funny, you need to go here. >>

OR

Miss Spelling forgives you.

OR

Misspelling 'misspelling', if that had been deliberate, it would have been joke of the century.

OR

If only God had invented a book with words in it which shows the correct spelling and maybe a definition and synonyms too.

OR

If only that nice Mr Gates (or Jobs,if you're on a Mac) had created a basic word processing program which included a spell checker. He could have called it Microsoft Word, but only if he was REALLY clever.

Ok, I'm done.

Matt.

Then get off Dotnet and do your bloody job or I'll have you fired! Come on man, there are people at window two who want to 'Go Large' and those burgers aren't going to spit in themselves.

Well come on, it's a better guess than QC or Chancellor of the Exchequer or consultant neuro-surgeon at St Thomas' hospital.

Totally off topic so I shan't go on, but this epitomises precisely what is wrong with our arcane education system. In the world of 3G, Wi-Fi hotspots at McDonalds and the iPhone, I am never more than 1/2" from Google. Why then, does the curriculum require that children take exams in the same way they did when Queen Victoria was enthroned?
