Being only half an hour away, I'll be one of the few at the game.

Is there a pub/bar that away fans are going to in Alfreton?

As a separate note, I'd start Hutchings personally. Though shouts for Harding to play at centre-half are interesting.

me and a mate will be there, meeting in sheffield at 1, getting the train down around three i imagine, a few pubs in town and near the ground and hopefully a nice away win with a scintillating performance for the cameras too!

Funny what different people see, for me Cameron would be one of the first names on my team sheet. His distribution and footballing brain is priceless IMO. Opposition teams are never quiet sure how to handle him and you never know what trick he might pull next.

can't see this being a good day for us! could be another banana skin like Telford, our young players won't like the limelight, and we will drop points today! hate to say it, but it's the TUFC way haha!

Putting money on Hawley to score today.

On paper it's a game we should win, but then It was the same with Telford. Don't think it will be a walk in the park but hopefully we'll come away with the win.

2-1 Torquay.

Bet for me is laying Torquay to be winning at half time in the "half time" market on betfair. Alfreton have scored the first goal in 5 out of 7 home matches (71.4%) against Torquay scoring first in 3 out of 7 away matches (42.9%)
Betfair price 2.62.

There is no value in Torquay winning the game - fair odds on a Torquay win is 2.29 actual price on a Torquay victory is 1.86. This represents a minus value of 33.33%.

Fair odds on the draw are 3.83 actual price 3.8 (-1.06%)

Fair odds on Alfreton winning is 3.78 actual price is 4.9 (+36.69%)

Will be going, travelling down from Doncaster. Would have taken lad with me, but not willing to pay full price for him (£18), as they don't offer a concession without a Student card. Nothing like cashing in!!

I was also planning on going from Donny with my mate, but £18 ffs? Gonna have a rethink at that price for non league, its only £25 to watch Division 2 (Championship to you yoo-aths) at Hillsborough. :-/

It's £17 on the pop, and believe it's £21 in the bench at Torquay, maybe it's the going rate for clubs at our level.

Oh forgot to add, just read through the Alfreton forum, a poster on there has described Karl Hawley as the worst player he's ever seen in an Alfreton shirt .. so we know just what's going happen.

I have heard that Courtney Richards May be slotting into central defender today.
If true, I am totally surprised.
If I was Hutchings I would be peed completely off.
You wait for your chance and with suspensions it arrives.
Playing against 2nd from bottom club and still not picked.
However I hope the rumour is wrong and young Jake is given his chance.

Will do, I PM'd Austrian Andy to see if he might be going - seems to have gone to ground and not heard back from him yet.
