Makes me wonder what game you were at. Considering he a part time striker, usually a winger, he had no right to win as much in the air as he did against a pretty big defence when being used as an aiming point. He has a phenomenal workrate over the 90 minutes and is always looking to put defenders under pressure and chases down everything. If he hadnt missed that penalty, he would have been number 1 or 2 for me...

Some people will never see the value of Zebroski. The best performance I've ever seen by any Torquay player (and I've seen quite a few in my time) was last season away at Crewe where he played that lone forward role and gave the Crewe defence a torrid time. They literally couldn't deal with him. He's a fine player and even when most fans think he's had a poor game he's usually put a decent enough shift in.

He was phenomenal that day. Scored a cracker too. He's averaged about a goal every three games in his seperate spells down here which is a splendid record when you consider he's played about 80% of those matches out wide. He never looks to be in complete control of the ball, which draws some criticism, but that's just his unorthodox style. He can also never be accused of not giving 100% - there's a reason why Buckle rarely subs him. He would have made my top five if he hadn't ballsed up the penalty.

I was at the match where, but for a lick of paint, he would have scored a goal.
The match where, but for being carved down, he would have scored a goal.
The match where, with good play and skill he got an opponent sent off, freeing up our entire team to provide THAT second half.
The match where, at will, he terrorised the opposing backline, beating them frequently.
The match where he chased and harried the opposition into conceding throwins upwards of a dozen times.

Why, which game were you at?
