Can we read in to anything Kev says here? http://www.torquayheraldexpress.co.uk/t ... story.html as in he should know who the bidders are shouldn't he? Or am I just being too optimistic?

Even SG has all but admitted it's not GI or MR M. Some how I see the future to be good but what a week we have to wait
I wish I still had a week to wait.

I didn't think it would be GI or Masters, but now I'm thinking it is - purely because surely if it wasn't then the board - knowing their unpopularity - would have come and and said it isn't them. But then, the board just don't like talking to us, even when they are saying what we want to hear!

I'm saying that with the feelings towards GI/Masters it would be easy for the board to come out and says that it is not them they are currently in talks with. There is nothing wrong with confirming a negative, obviously I don't expect them to say who they actually are talking to. The fact they haven't said anything makes me think the worst, that the board are in talks with the aforementioned property developers.

I saw what I believe to be Peter Masters driving up Westhill Rd this morning in his Merc which has a Personal N/Plate spelling out Truro City or nearly does, so I imagine he is very much in the loop as it were !!!!!!!!!!

Did the driver have horns, a cloak and a pointed tail. If so I believe that it is indeed Masters and the end is nigh.

Latest rumour on BTPIR is that the board is considering going into receivership. Perhaps Pete Masters is the grim reaper.

Not much choice if you're on the verge of trading insolvent.

What is so frustrating is that apart from those who read one or more of the three main forums, the remaining Gulls' supporters are quite likely to be oblivious of the seriousness of what could be impending disaster for the club as the local media remains silent.
