Just bumped into Colin Lee & his wife, he was out for a quiet coffee and snack in a Torquay hotel. Lovely to see him.

Unable to cut the mustard at Gulls, his career has taken a massive nosedive. No doubt he will come back to haunt us at some stage.Griff1n wrote: 24 May 2025, 07:20 Not a big surprise that Brad Ash has signed up with Bath City for the coming campaign:-

Reubin Reid signs for weymouth.
You do realise that he has signed for a club in the same division as you?MoxGull2502 wrote: 24 May 2025, 13:40 Unable to cut the mustard at Gulls, his career has taken a massive nosedive.
Ash did ok on loan at Bath last season. In his interview after signing for Bath, Ash said the style of play at Bath under manager Darren Way suits him.

He did okay for us, lets not forget he was our top scorer and joint top assists in 23/24. Massive nosedive is a load of nonsense - he joined us from a team who finished 19th in NLS, spent two seasons with us in NLS, and has joined another NLS team. I wish him well, he tried hard whilst often playing in a role or style his game wasn't suited to.MoxGull2502 wrote: 24 May 2025, 13:40 Unable to cut the mustard at Gulls, his career has taken a massive nosedive. Fully agree with leetufc here. Ash gave what he could, top scorer and joint assists in 23/24 says it all. Not every player thrives in every system, and it’s fair to say our setup wasn’t exactly tailored to his strengths. A move to a team where the style fits better could be exactly what he needs.
