I've just had a call back from the club, the concession ticket I bought for my son still applies even though he's a student as he's 16.

If anyones tickets fail to show, they will have records of who bought what at the ground, so no need to panic if they fail to show, just take some ID and all will be fine.

The lady also said they were unaware that any tickets returned to the people at Old Trafford would be available on the day so I asked her to check if this was possible and if it is to put it on the OS.

i have contacted the club who have said "we'll sort it out", but as i need the tickets in my hand tomorrow so i can leave early saturday, i'm not expecting anything to change. in theory the corner should be busy, what with the 100's of us who didn't want to be there - it's like the naughty corner at school - so lets make the most of it and make it a great day.
That made I laugh.

Can anyone confirm that the tickets are sent by registered mail. I ordered mine at about 9.30 on Wed morning, well before the deadline of 5pm for guaranteed delivery in time for the game but. based on posts on this thread, I am a little concerned as thay haven't arrived yet.

Also Southampton Gull, I hope you are right that arrangements to collect tickets at the ground have been made if they fail to show because there will be no one at Plainmoor to answer the phone if they haven't arrived on Saturday morning.

TORQUAY UNITED PRESS RELEASE
Friday, May 27, 2011
ON SALE FROM OLD TRAFFORD
THE Football League has announced that tickets will be available from Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Gulls face Stevenage in the League 2 Play-Off Final at the Theatre of Dreams and the ticket office at Old Trafford will be open from 9am.
After days of deliberation, the League has decided the best option to solve problems of fans unable to obtain tickets would be opening the Old Trafford ticket office.

Now why the feck didn't they just do that in the first place!!!

My tickets haven't arrived yet. I rang the club and they took my name. The lady on the phone said she would pass the info on and said I could collect them from the ticket office at OT if thay don't arrive in time.

I suggest that anyone else who hasn't got their tickets does the same to be sure they can be collected. Now for the most important bit; The lady said that the office closes at 4;30 pm TODAY and won't be open tomorrow so make sure you rng in time.

My tickets arrived today! It's a major surprise that they did given that the following information was wrong on the envelope:

Building name
Street name
Town name
Postcode

Still the Royal Mail did me proud!
