I know Emet, i was one of the snobby ones who told people i lived in Cusworth!
To be fair though, my mate used to live on Newbury Way which is the cul de sac next up from my mums on Nottingham Close and that was actually classed as Cusworth yet ours was Scawsby. I felt hard done by so always said i lived in Cusworth. In addition to that, i did actually spend the first 12 years of my life in Cusworth as we lived right at the top of St Pauls Parade (near Chepstow Gardens) before moving to Nottingham Close. So i supose technically i'm from Cusworth.
It's tenuous but who cares? :~D
It's a small wold anyway Emet and i might bump into you one day in the village or 'up cussy'. At least if you see anyone wearing a Gulls shirt you'll know it's me! (Unless it's a woman)
My mum and dad were big Wednesday fans, their biggest moment being at Wembley for the Rumbelows Cup win over Man U. Sadly my dad is no longer with us but i used to go with him to Hillsborough lots and all my mates at school were Wednesdayites ( apart from a couple of oddballs supporting Barnsley - Sorry SNW! ). We all used to go to Hillsborough on the train from Donny and walk up penistone road from the station going in all the pubs on the way up. There was about 30 of us all on the kop regularly, it was a good laugh but despite the amount of times i visited Hillsborough and saw Wednesday i didn't feel connected with them.
Anyway, enjoy the game tomorrow night mate and might bump into you one day.![Scarf :scarf:](./images/smilies/scarf.gif)
