Great time to get a goal which has dramatically changed my ht summary.

Dull game which we've edged to be fair. I was going to come on here and say it would have been an ok performance so far if we hadnt conceded a sloppy goal. Poke hasn't been tested at all, although Southend are causing plenty of problems via Assambalongas movement. The goal was poor - Rene lost the ball in the midfield, Southend broke down the right. Cruise and Macdonald didn't get tight enough, allowing Eastwood to cut in and score.

Although their passing has been good, Southend have not had a further clear sight of goal. Prior to the goal, we'd tested their keeper twice. Once through a great long range effort from Chappel after he did well to get the ball out of his feet. The second I couldn't see who, might have been Chappel again after some neat build up. Our goal came from a deep left wing cross which fell to Manse (I think) in acres at the back post. He fired it low back in at goal and Labadie was there to turn it in from point blank range.

Generally though, our passing has been dire. Hate to say it to all the Craig lovers but he's been an absolute passenger. Not strong enough for centre mid. Chappel has done alright, but not seen much of the ball. Labadie, Bodin and Macdonald have probably been our shining lights.

Fantastic time to get a goal, there has been little to choose between us and we haven't come close to the energy and passion we showed at Dagenham. Could definitely come away from a result but we will need to sharpen up.

Internet connection went so missed the goal. Right we have given them a goal start. We have the wind behind us second half. Lets make it count - three points here will go half way to keeping us up.
I KNOW there are games left but we have to start winning NOW. I really hope we can get a result here. Just don't want to see us bottom. Come on.

The bottom 7 is ridiculously close, nothing will be decided today but staying above the dotted line would be nice!

I can't see us winning this sadly but would give anything for a win at Southend. I think if we do, THAT will be the turning point of the season.

Now Barnet are below us, does this mean we want the score to stay the same or do we want them to pull back!?

I'd say pull back, a nice gap between us and Stanley would be helpful
