Yeah Billy cant play. So we are without Howe and Bodin.
I really have no idea what Ling would do.

If I was Ling I'd play:

-----------------Olejnik---------------------

--Oastler-----Ellis-----Robbo---Nicholson

--Macklin----Eunan----Manse---- Morris

-------------Mcphee----Atieno------------

Subs: Rice, LRT, Saah, Stevens, Lathrope

I'm not sure with your choice of the backline, but agree with the midfield and your first post of playing 4-5-1.

I would like to see either McPhee or O'Kane given the "hole" role.

I almost entirely agree - just can't see Saah getting dropped. To carry on a theme, I've got nothing against Saah either but aside from the Rovers game and the second half against Aldershot I've been thoroughly unimpressed. His downfall seems to be a basic lack of concentration. As I said in my match report, if you watch him you can actually see the moment that he realises the ball is coming his way, when he should have realised it way earlier.

Given that its almost certain that Saah will start, I'd prefer us to play the back 4 we played on Saturday. Yes they were shocking for 45mins but they were set up to play against a direct side, which I believe Macclesfield to be.

Up front I''d like to see McPhee play just in behind Atieno, as I believe thats the role he had success in last season. I'd also like to see Spear on the bench - why not just have him there, just in case.

Bollocks, I forgot Billy was unavailable, DAMMIT. Oh well, brilliant time for Rene Rene to get crocked in the paintpot.

Matt.

The little long haired one,

Intresting to see on .com that it will either be Macklin, O'Kane or McPhee upfront with Tiawo on Saturday.

Cheers Scotty. He was the one I thought he was, but couldn't be sure.

He has always looked a danger in the reserve/youth games I have seen. (Which presumably means he looked rubbish in the highlights... ;-) )
