divingbboy wrote:Don't see this covered elsewhere, so sorry if it has been, but I just noticed that Zebs has turned up playing in the Blue Sqaure South for Eastleigh FC alongside Chris Todd.

Saw both of them play for Eastleigh when they visited Longmead (Tonbridge Angels) a few weeks back. Zeb scored, although looked very 'laboured' throughout the 90 mins. Toddy looked comfortable at the back - great to see him still on a football field.

Other ex-Gulls that have visited Longmead this season include Sills, Baynes, Villis amongst others. And last night in goal for Eastbourne Boro was Danny Potter.

If anyone's interested (and I'm sure you all are) Angels result was 1-1 which kept them in the BSS for another season... :scarf:

How times change!

A year ago Eunan O'Kane moved to League One Bournemouth, and Bobby Olejnik moved to Championship club Peterborough.

Now, Bournemouth are promoted to the Championship and Peterborough relegated to League One!!

If Bobby stays, the Posh won't concede a single goal next year. Bobby got POTS in the second most porous defence in the FL.

Kieran Charnock released by Fleetwood. Did he actually play for them this year?

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but Darren Moore was sacked as first team coach by Blackburn in mid-March along with Michael Appleton - after just 67 days! Not the best start to his coaching career.

Surprising one this: Barnet keeper Graham Stack accuses Taiwo Atieno of stealing £200 from him. Plenty more information about it on Stack's Twitter timeline (@GrahamStack1).

Mo-Mo-Mohammed (fine for a man, but I wouldn't choose it for my teddy bear) moves up to L1 to play alongside a murderer and the only proper striker in L2 last year.
