You are right Andy to be looking at this. Compare Knill's first 3 results in comparison to Scott at Aldershot (5pts), Ward at Bristol R (4pts), Sheridan at Plymouth (5pts), Hill at Rochdale (2pts). Some have done well others have struggled. None have performed a miracle. By comparison with Knills previous record at turning around failing teams fortunes, his results this time around are not surprising.

Please explain what 'the good' is currently. I fail to see it.

I named no names, did not say anyone was incorrect, made general points and did not infer anything. The defensive and belittling response is the reason I will think twice about posting again. I thought it was TUFC forum and not a personal blog that no one else was able to comment on.

Have to say to the mods. you do a great job but as soon as you read insults and slanging you just want to click off therefore stiifling debate. I noticed the other day you suspended someone for a few days. Could you not maybe try that a bit more?
Difficult I suppose deciding what is and isn't an insult these days.
We try and let the forum run itself as much as we can, Dave but occasionally we remove the content of a post if it is nothing but an insult. If a poster continues to post in that manner then we will take further action, albeit reluctantly.

No ED, look. You're a new poster and we all welcome new people getting involved however you yourself posted words such as incredulous about some negative threads and said that you didn't welcome negativity. That is inferring something against the people who posted those threads which ( i was one of them ) they were more than entitled to post them as their opinion. Ok so you don't like some things fine but it was the way you dismissed those threads and those peoples views which i disagreed with. Anyway Ed, i welcome you on to the site as we all do and hope you continue to post your views.

Thank you for your patronising welcome post. It has motivated me to post on a regular basis.

Welcome to the forum EdGull and I hope you will consider staying. It's all about a bit of debate and defending your views so don't let that put you off.

Ok then, here we go again. All i want to know is why i am in the wrong ( if i am ) as i seriously and honestly cannot see why. Ed made a post where in it, he made some very very good points and it was a great post. He also commented on the threads like DROP RENE sand said they were negative and ludicrous. I pointed out that i thought here was another poster who automatically held the view that any negative post was to be pilloried. I then post again and point this out and welcome him to the site and i get called patronising! I am not bright enough to read the post back and work out if it is actually patronising but i had no idea. I just truthfully cannot understand what is going on here. It bends my mind. Obviously my last post was taking the p*ss but why should ithave come to that when i haven't even done anything? This is so tiring and there is definately some conspiracy to get me off the site despite people assuring me otherwise. I only post what i believe although i know most of you won't like it but what else can i do? Post things i don't mean? I'm quite embarrassed for some of you if truth be told.

Andy, you're doing fine.
I didn't actually realise what Ed had written in response to you but I still think it can't hurt to have another voice floating around the forum.

Andy, there isn't a conspiracy. Just now isn't really a time to get on the managers back (after 3 games) which breeds negativity. It is a desperate time, but it certainly isn't as bad as it has been in the past (IMO). Take 2005/06 for example, 5 points adrift with 5 games to go yet we pulled it out of the bag, somehow. We, as fans, need to stick together now and support the team and the club, rather than bashing it. If we drop, bash all you want. I'm sure most of us will, but now isn't the right time.

Seriously Nick, we've won 1 game in just over 3 months via a penalty, we've slipped into the relegation battle and we don't even look like winning a game. I don't need to breed negativity, it's all around. Anyway, i'm more asking for peoples opinions on how they think it is going with Knill after three games and stated my own that i am unhappy with his subs. How is that some sort of bashing crusade?

I definitely agree with Nick that we are in no way as bad as 05/06 or countless other seasons when we've flirted with the drop. I don't actually think our team is that bad and I think they SHOULD be a mid-table team. For some reason we have slumped badly and something obviously needs to change but it's not as bad as previous seasons when you genuinely look at the personnel and think "Who here is good enough?"
It's all about opinions though, others will probably think that there aren't many good players actually in the team. I don't think that's what Andy thinks though? He appears to be griping about the system we use which obviously doesn't suit every player at the club. Hopefully Knill will tinker with the system and reap some rewards before the season is out.
