Totally agree Matt, and yes I think he should stand up a bit more he did look like a bull in a china shop on a couple of occasions and if he doesn't jockey he's player more he will give away vital free kicks and pens.ferrarilover wrote:Agree that Tommo isn't a full back, but in this instance, it's irrelevant. His catastrophic mistakes were not caused by his inability to correctly position himself to defend a corner, or to expertly show his man down the line, as may be expected of a specialist defender. The errors he made were in judgement and passing, two things expected of any footballer anywhere in the world, regardless of position.
Does anyone else think that Pearce will get more bookings this year than Rene did last?
Matt.

I agree with brucie; best to keep powder dry until perhaps ten matches have gone by or it's the end of September (probably the same thing). Everything will have been made clear by then. Bodin should be rested or farmed out.

there, see? I've been fooled again. I see that a new comment has been posted about the Swindon match, & I jump right in, & it's just another (tedious) non-comment on the love-in between the clones Brucie & Wivelgull. Can't you two just pm all your affection to each other all day long instead of involving all the other forum members? It's so sweet that you're in agreement, & maybe you could start your own separate thread; but keep off the game threads, huh? :slap:

Would have been QPR away in Round 2 anyway so not too appealing really.
Those highlights also confirm to me that Pritchard went down at the tiniest of contact, if that. I was sceptical at the time, and now I'm more so. Ah well.
