I wonder if Matt Green is still in Birmingham's first team squad ? Green shoots ..... see ?? Ha, h ......

Anyway, tiny acorns - at least we are showing some passion and determination now which was sadly lacking under Mr Knill. The fans can see this effort which is resulting in MUCH better support from the terraces ..... and maybe even from Bristow's Bench !
Matt Green was and to intents and purposes is still in the 1st team squad. He last played I think in September when he had a run of 4 games. e scored against leicester and played the next three games without scoring and the was subsequently dropped. He then sustained a cruciate ligament injury which apparently rules himself out for the rest of the season.

Manse's trouble is that he's got nothing but passion. You've got to add at least a modicum of talent into the mix. I imagine you're deeply passionate about Torquay, ask yourself why you're not in the starting lineup.

Not sure if you went to Cheltenham, but as "well" as we played, there was no commitment or passion, we just seemed, as I saw it,to be going through the motions. Again, last night, there was a determination and, that word again, passion, in their play. Personally I believe that Benners has a lot to do with that. Not the greatest player but he runs and commits non stop. I think his attitude galvanises the rest of the team to follow his example.
Keep it up and we give ourselves a chance. COYY
You're right - for whatever reason, there seemed to be a lack of energy in the Cheltenham match. It could well have been because Elliot was missing - certainly the strike partnership of Showumni and Stockley didn't work. On the other hand, it could have been the shadow of the Labadie case hanging over the team (Labadie looked very dejected during the time he was on the pitch). My question mark over Benyon is his lack of goals - no doubts on his effort, although he falls over rather too easily, just not enough end product.

Motherfucker please, Ryan Giggs is 40 and spent his evening dominating a Champions League match.
