don't be ridiculous - maybe the board want to go up in the playoffs but you really think they are "judas" enough, and the players "mindless drones who do as they're told no matter what" enough to throw a match on purpose????? there would be outrage within the team... every player on the pitch will want to get automatic promotion, but sometimes the pressure makes you crumble.

If a team like hereford can score 3 goals against us, then surely a team who has done as well as us are capable of scoring 3 in the 2nd half also? which could very well end up being enough, if crawley lose and southend draw????

It's not even half time and you're acting like a bunch of spoilt babies who didn't get what they wanted for christmas. Support the team and carry on listing to updates, or don't, in which case no need to be moaning here to people that are. simple

What a bunch of **** bottlers. We have been found out at last. We can't beat Wimbledon or Herford. All the pressure was on them Roll on the play offs - We have got NO chance

Not enough, go full blown 4-3-3, where wide attackers don't track back but actually play up top. Strikers score goals, get more strikers on.

So we've had an exceptional season but just because we haven't achieved automatic promotion some fans are throwing in the towel completely. Pathetic.

We actually need to score FOUR - you cannot dress up this pathetic excuse of a performance.

its happened to us too many times to be more than mere coincidence, five invites to automatic promotion and all of them not RSVP'd

typical torquay united, its always a bloody rollercoaster with this club of ours!

Might as well play 9 up front second half, i'd rather we lose big and have ago than sitting around whilst were 3 down! Can't see us getting 3 goals let a lone 4!

What ever way you look at it it has been and still is (for at least another 45 minutes and maybe another 3.5 games) a fantastic season. :keepie:

Totally agree.

You wouldn't want to rely on someone like him when the going got tough.

I could understand this reaction if we were in Hereford/Barnet's position and getting thrashed but a bit of perspective please the worst that can happen is we get to show our lovely new stand off to Exeter and Argyle next year in League 2.

So it looks like Cheltenham in the playoffs. Trouble is - even they now seem to be picking up form and seem able to score whenever they need to.
