WTS on your shirt!

TORQUAY United are delighted to announce our new main sponsors for the next five seasons will be WTS [Western Training Services].

This is the premium sponsorship package available at Plainmoor and WTS will succeed Sparkworld as the company proudly adorning United first-team shirts.
‘’We are extremely pleased and proud to welcome WTS to the Yellow family,’’ said United chairman Simon Baker. ‘’This is obviously an important deal for the club and it is a big bonus to get everything sorted so quickly.

‘’It is an added bonus that we have secured a deal with a local business and the inspiring story of growth enjoyed by WTS is one that reflects the ambitions of our special club.’’

The company actually began as Just Coach Drivers, formed by Del Haggerty at his home in Torquay in 2006. The idea behind this new concept was a meeting point for drivers and operators, allowing both to work together in harmony.

It all stemmed from Del’s frustration as a coach driver, who found himself dropped every winter when the work was slow.

The business grew into a highly trusted player in the industry, moving to Exeter in 2010 and the expansion continued with the purchase of Western Training Services last year.

WTS specialise in approved online testing for drivers and workers in the construction industry. It is the only approved online centre of its kind in the South of England, while Just Coach Drivers has grown to the largest in the country, with a workforce of over 350 people.

Both companies are now combined and owned and operated by the same people. We are delighted to welcome Del and his team to the Yellow family.

I am sure the club and all the fans welcome your support and your logo is far less offensive on the eye than Sparkworlds!

Now lets all just hope the Football League badge remains on the new shirt with you as the new sponsor!

I've just visited their website as i've never heard of them ( no offence WTS ) and i think it will be too much white on a yellow and white shirt and i don't think you will be able to see it all that well. Is it likely to be on a black background or something i wonder?

On the picture posted on the official website, there is no collar on the shirt as it was presented in the voting option. I hope this is a mistake as I think I am not the only one who liked the collar.
