Hi gav, thanks for this, do you know how much it is to get into the ground??. Cheers Neil.whistler68 wrote: 28 Sep 2018, 10:35 Hi Guys
As far as kick off time goes the club has no plans to change unless outside forces dictate.
Id personally avoid going into colchester road works are a nightmare. The A12 will take you past colchester and then head to clacton then frating and signs to brightlingsea . Train to colchester then change for clacton and get off at wivenhoe or arlesford...bus 62 goes every 20 mins from both villages to brightlingsea town centre...ground 10 min walk.
Loads of pubs ...cherry tree does pie amd mash amd food...kings head ..brewers arms and swan all town centre . Swan and brewers do bnb also. For real ale the famous railway tavern is very very good

Given the distance and the game not being the biggest crowd pulling draw expect around 200

I'd agree with Mellow... 200ish. Regent's home crowds seem to be around the 200 mark this season. Being we're the big fish (*cough*) in this league, I'd expect a few *sticks tongue in cheek* glory hunters (from Brightlingsea that is!) to swell the crowd to well over 500.
And as Regent have only amassed the grand total of 1 point at home all season (drawn 1, lost 3) I'd expect us to go there, do the business, get a win (of any sort) and move into the next round. But, this is football, this is Torquay United, so we all know that's not going to be as straightforward as it should be....
...seems that my recent character assassination of Mr Reid has worked wonders (he must read these forums!), so here's hoping that he takes his current form into this game. I don't mind eating humble pie... as long as it proves my point that he was 'going nowhere' before GJ came along.

The thing was that TUFC were going nowhere, not just Reid.United62 wrote: 02 Oct 2018, 13:37

Cannot make this but we have a lot of fans based in the south east, there will be some mad fools coming up from here though. We had 300 at Chelmsford so should be about that total.

Oh yes indeed, & they'll all be scored by the prolific Mr Reid.dennisk wrote: 03 Oct 2018, 08:27 Another large haul of goals for the yellows then on Saturday....(hopefully)...
Hold on to your hats boys.
What is your problem with Reid? A local lad and TUFC supporter who always gives his all. He suffered under a shit manager and now, with a good manager is starting to flourish. Cut the man some slack and try supporting him and his team mates!Teigngull wrote: 03 Oct 2018, 09:47 Oh yes indeed, & they'll all be scored by the prolific Mr Reid.
