On the Ajose thing: I'll be very suprised if he takes part tonight, he may be on the bench as a morale booster, but I doubt he'll get on.

On the bus-parking thing: (Jeff) It's quite the opposite really. We badly struggle against sides that get behind the ball and the poorer sides too. We've lost 8 this season and 4 of them were doubles against Stockport and Bradford! I think most Bury fans are thinking we will win tonight because Torquay are likely to set up to attack, and that you are a good team with something to go for in the play-offs.

So a 0-0 boredraw with both sides booed off then?

I predicted a thrilling encounter against Shrewsbury, but that's about the only thing I got right! More of the same, please!

Well if we line up as we did on Saturday, we'll be playing four strikers. Don't think it will be 0-0 o:)

Fair enough, I must have mis-read a post earlier. That does not bode well for us, as we are not very good at shutting up shop, so even if we were to go 1 up I doubt it would stay like that for very long!

We are quite blessed in that on the occaision where our manager sets us up right, we can be unbeatable. However, we have a tendancy to change formation very quickly which isn't always a good thing - as witnessed in the second half at Aldershot.

I think it should be a good game tonight. Bury have a strong squad with lots of recognised good performers in it. Our glimmer of hope is the disruption to your back 4. We will have the attacking players on the pitch to make the most of any weakness, but then if we are getting battered we will struggle to clear our lines as the ball will just keep coming back.

I'd take a 0-0 actually! I think one of the first games I saw at Plainmoor back in 1993/94 was a 0-0 against Bury, and it still stands as one of the most boring games I've ever seen! I think most gulls fans will see a 0-0 as a point gained. However anything worse than that won't make the drive home any better (I've got to be up for work at half 6 tomorrow morning, and I doubt I'll be back much before 2!).

I can't see us parking the bus by any stretch - it would be very disappointing to do so, in my opinion.

I'd love for the same scoreline at Gigg Lane that we returned home with last season, but I can't see it happening.

As said, a point would be a point gained, aslong as we don't then mess it up at Macc and/or Cheltenham..

I have JUST spoken to Bury FC and the news is VERY disappointing.
It is not a promotion run by the local paper, it is, in fact, what Bury term a "Local promotion day". They are permitted two per year and Tuesday is one of them. The offer extends to HOME supporters only and ALL away fans will be charged full price.
I see this as very unfair. While I appreciate they Bury FC must take the hit on gate revenue and what-not, and that it is an opportunity for the home side to have good support, I hardly see it as just that a couple of hundred locals get in cheap, where as the couple of hundred TUFC fans who do a 600 mile round trip, on a Tuesday, in March, are 'rewarded' with full price entry.

With this in mind, I have just called TUFC and they confirmed that, when we have offers on (kids for a quid etc) that favour is extended to away fans as well as our own.

Very mean spirite of Bury if you ask me, I wonder if there is a case in law?

Matt.
I say! "what a load of ars###les",I have always regarded Lancashire folk as very hospitible & friendly, but not this group of tossers. I would have thought that it would not have been much of a problem to send a few "away vouchers" to T.U.F.C. or even ask the H.E. or Weekender to print them in their newspaper. Quite clearly the club don t give a s### about away supporters. I.M.O. Tqy. fans visiting tonight should boycot the refreshments on sale in the ground. If we are playing Bury again next season then the same should apply!!

Just took my seat in the cavernous away end - I had plenty to choose from, yet cannot avoid one of the bloody pillars!

As you might expect there is a fairly sparse away turn out, but time yet for a few to roll in through the gates.

All the usual suspects are warming up, although no sign of Kee I don't think. Pitch looks in good nick which could help us. All the lads look in good fettle, particularly Bevan in his warm up routine.

Premiership Referee Mike Dean in charge tonight! I always hate these referees dropping into the lower leagues!

Bucks just spent 5 - 10 mins with all the forwards on finishing drills. Some impressive finishes despatched by all. I'd say from the way we've been warming up and set out our side, we won't be looking to park any busses tonight.
