I'd rather not be described as "cool" by someone who drives orange cars and wears a silly hat everywhere, thanks all the same :na:

Accrington could be dark horses, here.

Lead Hereford 4-0 at the minute, which puts them 3 points out of the playoffs with a game in hand.

Nobody taking notice of them, but they keep grinding out results. Fraser Eagle Stadium is a bit of a fortress, it seems!

Some tasty fixtures this weekend
Burton Albion v Barnet
Now that's a buttock clencher if ever I saw one - bet Burton are pleased for the Oxford result else they were in danger of getting dragged into the deep do do...
Still fancy Barnet to survive..
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!

How on earth have Stockport got the points they have, given that they have conceded so many goals, it beggars belief.

Anyway, without wishing to sound like a big time Charlie, is anyone else horrified at the prospect of Accrington Stanley in L1? With that ground, that pitch and that level of football (I'm sure they'd be honest enough to admit that they win at home by being defensive minded and knowing that no real football can be played on their pitch. They have also won fewer away matches than Stockport). Imagine for a sec that they'd been up there last year. Leeds United, Norwich City, Southampton et al coming for a visit to The Crown Ground, I thought ECFC was carnage, but that would be terrible.

Oh well, I don't particularly like them, place, team, ground, free match and all that, but if they get there, it will be on merit (the table doesn't lie).

Accrington would have to get automatic promotion because I really could not see them winning over the 2 legs, and even if they did, really couldn't see them beating any teams at Wembley/Old Trafford. I actually wouldn't mind us getting them in the play offs because they might hold out for a tight 1-0 win at home but I think that on form, we'd tear them apart at Plainmoor.

I know they got a draw against us earlier on in the season but could anyone really see us drawing 0-0 in any games at the moment?!

I think when we played them, they had the tightest defence in the league. Thats what their game is all about. They seem to be the away draw specialists in L2
