As I've said previously, I feel the finishing of both Kee and Tomlin is much better than that of Benyon. That said, neither of them work as hard as Benyon did or does, I never implied anything else. I'm not knocking EB and I have no problem with him trying to better himself. I think he's made what has turned out to be the wrong move at the time he made it, however if he stays with Swindon and they find themselves in League Two as seems likely and we fail to go up then next season it might look like a much better decision on his part.

No Troj, no fight with Shane, I like the guy a lot but sometimes we totally disagree on the forum, in this instance we don't disagree on much apart from who is the best finisher.

We met up a few years ago and although we rarely agree on football related matters we often have a pre-match chat. Shane is a good guy just knows absolutely nothing about football, he's good at quizzes though

I know that, and what makes Torquay Fans.com what it is these days is viewpoint debated without causing injury to personal feelings.

Some of course are more sensitive than others and in my case do I go off on one when the stick goes across my arse ?

Had written a big reply to this but got that **** 'too many connections' error message and it lost it.

I wasn't Benyons biggest fan at all, nowhere near, but I disagree with this. He scored 15 goals last year in L2, then followed it with 14 in the first 6 months of this season. That is better than an 'alright L2 striker' in my mind.

As for the workrate, it was excellent - he pressured defenders, forced errors which helped the side. It wasn't aimless jogging, for me.

We're a more threatening outfit now because we have an attacking quartet, instead of just EB on his own, as he was played throughout the first half of the year. We're bound to be more effective and threatening - I'd be very worried if we aren't. There has been a change of attitude, for me, from Buckle. One up front has now changed to 2 with wingers backing them up - much more attacking, causing much more threat.

Benyon will make the grade at L1 level, in my mind, if he keeps working at it. Either that, or he'll be an excellent L2 striker.

As for my feelings, I'm delighted that we have brought in players like Stanley and Robinson with the money - credit to Buckle for that.

Regards your Mark Ellis question Shane, we went 1000 minutes without conceding with Mark an ever present in the back line for that, we have not repeated that feat without him in the side, it is my assertion that we are defending worse without him than with.

By 'change of attacking intent', do you mean to suggest that PB thought 'right, I've just sold our top scorer, now time to get some goals'?

I'm not the only person to recognise the change Matt. We are playing with more attacking players on the pitch - frequently 2 strikers to share the workload, 2 wingers that are creating chances and a man in midfield supplying the ammunition that Nicky Wroe was unable to. It is no surprise that with greater intent, we're scoring more goals. It's only a surprise we're not conceding more as well, by being so much more offensive.
