You pay to sit in that seat for one season. Now you have the choice to sit in another seat for the upcoming season where you can moan to your hearts content. Enjoy the ride, stop moaning about the journey.

As a Senior I bought my Season Pass today as an Early Bird retaining my seat in Bristows for £349. Cost £15.17p per game.
The increase based on 52 weeks works out at 82 pence per week after a 3 year price freeze. I am not complaining.
I pay about £15 per game against £20 per game for a full price ticket in Bristows. I get 25% off. Very fair in my book to support my lifelong team in their quest to return to the EFL.
Personally I am glad the board have shown they are prepared to make potentially unpopular decisions in order so that the club can progress. Remember this money will be going to enhance the football club, not to line other people's pockets.
All season people have been saying they're so grateful to Bryn for giving them their club back; well now comes the hard bit, back it or lose it.
Although I believe the price hike for young fans in Bristows' Bench is a big mistake, there are many factors at play and a simple comparison with League 1 / League 2 isn't clear cut. The infrastructure at a higher club, of similar capacity, isn't significantly more expensive. Their players will be getting bigger wages, but maybe the sponsorship of both the team and individuals makes up a significant amount of this number. I see an increased ticket price as an investment in the longevity of the club.
I'm a bit baffled about the indignation of some on here, I had to go and check the O/S to see if ticket prices had sky rocketed...
Where can anyone realistically get a few hours entertainment for under £20 these days? I get that money is tight for the majority, myself included, but if you could afford to attend last season then this rise isn't a deal breaker. Apologies if that sounds harsh, but it isn't.

As a side note, if anyone had particular extenuating circumstances I'm almost certain based on their conduct to date, that the club would come up with a special bespoke arrangement, for example an installment plan.
It’s disappointing that despite by the clubs own admittance family attendance is up families are the hardest hit by these changes! The no price rises isn’t strictly true for everyone, my son and I have gone from £342 in 2022 to £498 this year. I have no issue with paying more for my ticket, I run a business I totally get inflation and NI contributions have been difficult to offset but you have to encourage the next generation of families and £119 for a 4 year old is a valid question. Before I get a remark about the family stand being cheaper we tried that first of all but my son didn’t like it and to be honest I agreed!
The new consortium has received a lot of plaudits and rightly so as they have done so many good things but the pricing toddlers and young children out of Bristows for short term gain is fair to question. Supporting a football team and Torquay in particular is all about passion and to some extent routine and that is engrained in us from a young age by our Dad, Mum or Grandad. Going to sit in the same seats that Dad took me and now I take my son is not only important to some fans but also crucial to create the next generation of fans, especially nowadays when sport is so easy to consume at home. It’s laughable to read a poster compare booking seats at Plainmoor to buses and restaurants, I’m not sure if Stagecoach were going bust customers from Torquay would be raising 250k to save the company.

Jeez, I don't mind (or moan) paying £80 for petrol and around £120 to stay in a B&B to watch my team.
Mrs SNW & I will pay the £20 each to watch TUFC, anything to help the custodians of our club continue in their quest to improve our club and league position.
Some fans need to put things into perspective FFS.

Jeez, I don't mind (or moan) paying £80 for petrol and around £120 to stay in a B&B to watch my team.
Mrs SNW & I will pay the £20 each to watch TUFC, anything to help the custodians of our club continue in their quest to improve our club and league position.
Some fans need to put things into perspective FFS.
It is pretty clear from the various examples given that some folks are impacted more than others, both due to the nature of family groups and because *and here is the shocker* some people have more money than others.
Just because you can afford £240+ for a leisurely weekend visiting Torquay, that does not mean someone else who is already financially stretched cannot comment on the increase being painful without being labelled a whinger!

£19 to sit in the family stand which has in my view the worst view of a football match (being behind the goal)
compared to £119 for her to sit in bristows bench for an extra £100 which offers the best view in the stadium for me as a father of a 6 year old daughter who has fallen in love with this club is not a big deal atall…
£119 for a kid in Bristows, that's £5.18 a game. Where else can you take yours kids for that nowadays? That's comparable to a cinema ticket.
The only people complaining are those who were buying well under priced season tickets before hand. Most people accept the need for the price rises and remember your money is going towards the running of the club not into a share holders pocket.
If you want a competitive successful team you've got to pay for it.

I wouldn't call this leisurely thanks. I think thats a bit harsh.
If you're local then you are more lucky than myself and others who travel down for games.
My point was - we - as a group of exiles - don't moan about the cost of travel, hotels, etc. compared to more local fans who have a season ticket, or in this case, have to pay extra for next seasons.
As has been pointed out - and you seemed to have missed - the cost hasn't increased for a number of years, and when it has been some are up in arms.
Can't have it all ways........
