Up to about £800 a week if i am under budget, but i have already broken the wage budget, and need to sell some players, and for some reason noone wants Truro's reserve players?! I can't think why... :/

Slashed your budget?! What did you tell them you were going for? Top-half? Who's your biggest signing? Still this Aluko chap?

And how are you playing through this game so quickly?! I'm still only one league game in in each of my saved games!
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

i've just started unemployed and taken over at 21st place in the Blue Square North, Nuneaton.

Somehow I've managed to sign Jamil Adam, who to be honest is a fantastic signing that should bang in goals in this league.

I'm also looking for a parent club so I can hopefully bring in some decent players without having to worry about the cost of wages!

This is in November by the way.

Just downloading the demo as we speak. I'll probably have the game downloaded by the time I get an answer but how low in the ranks can we go in the demo? I'm looking to play with St Neots Town of the Evo Stik league.

Blue square south/north is furthest you can go down the leagues, I'm sure somebody on sigames forums will create a database for the lower leagues but in the demo and full game it isn't possible without one.

Cheers 92, I guessed that would be the case, same as the previous two versions.

Just downloaded the demo and I've come to a choice of conclusions. Either I'm a tactical genius and happened to find the best tactic for the game instantly or they've made the game easy.

First game of the season and I beat Crawley 6-1. Also beat Argyle 3-1 in a friendly and Tranmere 1-0.

Definitely going to savour this one though...

I had that, so I just terminated their contracts for about 7k each. Didn't realise the club were in such a financial mess and we're 500k in debt. :-|

Nope, the lowest expectation they wanted was playoffs, so I said that. Biggest signing, probably. Izzy Iriekpen isn't a bad signing, I've got Danny Senda in aswell. I also got my new youth intake in, and there is one actually worth keeping!! I'll post a screenie later, but he could go onto good things, I think. I started him in a game near the end of the season and he got injured after 2 minutes :( .

Started off fairly well. After a few games I went on a five game winning streak and climbed to second, but now I've not won in eight games (six draws, two losses) and have dropped to tenth, though am only two points off the playoff spots. My board wanted a mid-table finish so I went with that, though after a couple decent sigining I'm now a couple grand or so over budget, though hopefully will get rid of someone of the deadwood in the January transfer window.

Also, this didn't take too long:

Its basically exactly what its title says, You're a football manager.

You can load up pretty much any league in the world and take control of any football club you wish, or even take control of many clubs at the same time as different managers.

Then quite simply you manage the club, buy/sell players you want and don't want pick your team and then watch the matches. I always set my self a personal goal of getting Torquay United promoted but have failed to do so lately. :|

If you think you're interested in the game you can download a free demo on steam(you will also have to download steam its free) the demo will let you play half a season.

Here is the link to steam, if you do decide to give it a try.

Seriously though, if you want to get out of L2 early, load Reunion. It is a goldmine.
Does anybody know how to load Reunion on FM2012? I have a load of leagues loaded up, but can't get any players from that region as yet

As far as I know, the only way to have Reunionese players on there is on the setup screen when starting a new game. On the second screen, after selecting initial leagues, there should be a bit saying 'database size'. In the drop down box, select the size you want (small, normal, large), then after that click it again and select 'custom'. Then you can add players to the database of certain nationalities or certain leagues without having to load there leagues or, in Reunion's case, be able to have players from an unplayable league.

Another important thing to remember is if you've selected to play with the English league, if you're PC can handle it always make sure you've also selected to add all English players in the custom database part, as even though I'd selected down to the Conference North/South and had a large sized database, it still didn't load players from the likes of Tiverton until I added English players in the custom database part.

What TUFCfan said, Scott. If you wanted them, load all players from Luxembourg aswell.

Found a few players that are good signings for TUFC at the start - I'll post them if people want..

You on it yet Danny?

Warning, this game is serisouly addictive.

It's basically all about football management and if you are someone who has never played it i think you'll be more amazed at its in-depth database and features of the game than us regular players are.

Hope you can get into it and join the management banter!

Got sacked by Darlington. A below-par start to the season saw me in 14th. I applied for the MK Dons job, got rejected, then got sacked by Darlo for doing it.

Brilliant. Although, I'm quite glad, they were in a lot of debt. Only concern is finding a new job now.
