yes thats one - but the george and dragon is further down (towards harley) and serves lots of wentworth ale! =D

I forgot it was Austrian day today so i'll be partaking this evening and then limiting myself as it's getting silly now. I'm borderline alcoholic and i DON'T even drink at football matches!!

I'll still be drinking the good stuff on a regular basis though Luke so i won't abandon all you drinkers out there completely.

Got some 'Old Intentional' this evening from the Derby Brewing Co based in Derby obviously.

Someone try some York Ale somewhere on saturday and let me know what you think of it. To me Tribute is the best but it comes close.

The makers of 'Old Speckled Hen' have made a lovely strong slightly darker ale for some anniversary or something, called 'Old Crafty Hen'.

It's 6.7% and a bit heavier than my usual, but I had a couple on Saturday and it went down reet good like.

For toneet i've got a bottle of Barnsley Bitter from the ACORN Brewery in Baaaahhnsleh. I've got a bottle of Pride of Sheffield from the Kelham Island Brewery, i've got a bottle of Yorkshire Terrier from York Brewery and a bottle of Roaring Meg from a small brewery near me in Retford , Notts. Lovely stuff!!!

Worryingly, I know 3 of those and tried all 3 too. Roaring Meg is good and anything from Kelham Island is always good. Wasn't fussed about Yorkshire Terrier though.

Scarborough Fair IPA brewed by Wold Top Brewery near Filey / Bridlington. It is certified gluten free, 6% and it means I can drink again!! Hurray!!!!! I'll be having some of that little beauty toneet, watching the supercup and working on the Fleetwood thread. Happy days! Anyone had any beer by WOLD TOP? They do Wold Gold and others.

Where in south Devon can I get a decent pint of bitter (cider too, for that matter) served at or near room temperature. I remember not so many years ago you could get beer served from traditional wooden barrels at the Two Mile Oak. And I once had a perfect pint of bass at the Dewdrop Inn, Kingsteignton; the fresh taste and feel of the bubbles from the still active yeast remains clear in my memory. Is that still possible anywhere these days?
