Dagenham & Redbridge v Torquay United - 12/3/13
No more messing about. We need to try to win every game now.
I want to see 4-4-2
Poke
Leadbitter Saah Downes Cruise
Macklin Craig Labadie Bodin
Howe Benyon
Rice, Macdonald, Oastler, Lathrope, Morris, Thompson, Jarvis
Then see how we're doing at half-time, maybe bring on Jarvo for Macklin later if we have a lead to protect, maybe Thommo for Benners to use his pace against a tiring defence.
Whatever, we need change...
I'm assuming though it will be the same old, same old, we'll create few chances, won't score and will once again lose by the odd goal or two.

yes nick gull, we went by coach and loads went by train that day, we went to loads of away games in the 70s and 80s, happy days, the likes of phil adams, adrian sanders, jack tench and many of the newton abbot lads, we were getting 3500-4000 at home then and the away support was as good as its always been, went overnight to places like workington, southport, hartlepool, i could write a book on those away days and the antics that we got up to, happy memories and thats why i could never give up on this club, to much water under the bridge and all that.

This is a more likely scenario!SuperNickyWroe wrote:

Very cold in East London / Essex tonight. Snow on & off all day but not really settled. More forecast tonight and down to -4 but then warmer tomorrow, 4-5 degrees. So I think the match should be on OK but wrap up warm!

Lucky you - we've had 9 inches of the bloody stuff and storm force winds all day.
Add that to the idiots who can't drive in it and it's been carnage all day.
Now at home in the warm with a roaring fire.
Roll on the winter

No it'll be fine I think. Its blowing a gale around these parts so nothing is settling, and everywhere is quite dry. I guess the risk is the ground will be frozen but its supposed to warm up tomorrowtktufc91 wrote:Anyone think this will be called off? Travelling up early lunchtime tomorrow and don't want to make the trip for nothing.

I live 5 miles away and no snow fell overnight.
It's cold but forecast to be 2/3C in daytime and about zero this evening.
I think it should go ahead OK.
