Branno seems to used only as a Bench Warmer at Argyle these days ..... Would he be too strong a character to work with Knill? It would be a good stepping stone for his coaching career and we all know that he doesn't like losing ! Personally, I'd love to see him back but I'm not sure he could work with Knill. What do other Forum posters think ??

The main complaint from my part is that there is no recognition of any negotiations from the club. When Tisdale up the road was given permission to speak to Portsmouth last week, ECFC put a statement out straight away saying they were allowing him to speak about the vacancy.
Not exactly difficult, and people actually feel as if they're valued as supporters as opposed to being a hindrance to be tolerated.
I'm sure Bury were in negotiation with an awful lot of clubs about an awful lot of people. I've checked the Internet, there's not a single mention of it anywhere else. We're forced to wonder why, once again, we expect Torquay United to act any differently from any other club in the world. Some managers are different, some of them are approached and the interest is announced. But do you honestly think that every enquiry about every staff member from every club is reported? The internet would collapse under the weight of press releases.
Have a think... The negotiations weren't completed on Friday (or before) otherwise Brassy would have been watching his new club, rather than prowling to Torquay touchline. They weren't completed on Saturday because both teams were in League action and had better things to do with their time. Thus, the deal, if at all, was completed on Sunday morning. The bloke who does our website has a young family and works every Saturday (as well as every day during the week). Are we really moaning because he didn't rush down to the club to type up a report about an assistant manager doing something that he hasn't actually done yet. **** me, you lot must be considerably more dedicated to your jobs than anyone I've ever met if you think that's reasonable.
If there's anything to tell, you'll be told when the club A. deem it appropriate and B. have the time to report the news. Until then, poor little lambs, you'll just have to settle for yacking about it on here.

I expect he can do it from home, these days...

Gee thanks Wivel. As it's the season of goodwill (supposedly), I think the majority of postings on here are sensible. I don't always agree with them as we each have our own views. I especially take notice of Arcadia, Forever and Stefano's postings ..... and where would we be without Andy ?? So to all of you out there HAPPY CHRISTMAS and let's keep up the banter in 2014. CHEERS !!

Great news that he is leaving. I have rarely seen such a disjointed team...almost as brass coaches individuals, but not the team.....and as for set pieces !
he will not be missed

I heard Brass is well respected among the players, and I don't think set pieces are his fault............ being a bit harsh on him I feel

Seems a lot of people on here think he's useless, but those professionals in the game seem to have a different opinion; we had to fight for him in the close season as he had at least two other job offers, and bury are willing to chase him and (perhaps) even pay for him.
I wonder who is right.

Coaches are just that and I think the vast majority of the supporetrs would feel we have been devoid of ideas too often.
If the players like him, great, let's have someone in they fear a bit.
